Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Toledo is more than a provider of cemetery services—we are a ministry of the Catholic Church, accompanying families with compassion during one of life's most difficult moments.
As a ministry of the Diocese of Toledo, we are committed to serving our community through educational outreach, financial assistance, and programs that uphold the dignity of every human person. While we provide professional cemetery services, our mission extends beyond burial. We strive to ensure that every family has access to sacred Catholic burial, compassionate guidance, and the hope found in Christ's Resurrection.
Through these mission programs, we seek to live the Gospel by serving those in need, preserving Catholic funeral traditions, and helping families honor their loved ones with dignity and faith.
Hope in the Resurrection

“Our Catholic funeral tradition affirms our belief in the communion of saints and our trust in Jesus’ promise of everlasting life. Burying of the dead is one of the Corporal Works of Mercy, incumbent upon every Christian. The Church’s rituals enable us to honor our dearly departed with solemn and tender devotion. Our Catholic Cemeteries provide us with a gathering place on holy ground where the living can prayerfully remember those who have gone before us awaiting the Resurrection to eternal life.”
All Souls Remembrance Program
Many families keep cremated remains at home or wonder what to do with them years after a loved one's death. The All Souls Remembrance Program offers a compassionate solution by providing the permanent, dignified interment of cremated remains within consecrated Catholic ground.
Offered free of charge and available to people of all faiths, the program includes a committal service from the Order of Christian Funerals and permanent interment in the All Souls Remembrance Crypt.

Mother Teresa Program
Serving Families in Need
Inspired by the witness of St. Teresa of Calcutta, this program provides cemetery assistance for families experiencing financial hardship, ensuring that every person may receive sacred and dignified Catholic burial.
St. Teresa reminded us that "love begins at home." Guided by that spirit, Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Toledo offers assistance to families in our own community who might otherwise struggle to afford cemetery services.
As a charitable ministry, we are committed to ensuring that financial circumstances never diminish the dignity owed to every human person.

Family Heritage Program
Bringing Generations Together
Families who choose cremation can remain together through the Family Heritage Program, which allows cremated remains to be interred within an existing family grave or crypt.
This program makes it possible to create or expand a family estate, connecting past, present, and future generations in one sacred place of remembrance.
It also provides a more affordable option for families while preserving the tradition of gathering together in consecrated ground.

Precious Lives Program
Honoring Every Life
Every human life is sacred from conception until natural death. The Precious Lives Program provides compassionate cemetery assistance for families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child, including pregnancy loss or the death of an unborn child.
The program also works with hospitals throughout the community to provide sacred interment services rooted in the Order of Christian Funerals, ensuring every child is treated with dignity, love, and respect.
